Course Thread Hex Bolts on 787?

How many course thread hex bolts are there on a 97 SPX (X4) with a 787?

I found one under the engine cases while working on it and thought well my brother must have dropped it in there previously. Later on I realized it had the same marking as the engine mount bolts. I looked but can not seem to remember where I placed the bolt but after doing some checking it looks like it is bolt #19 or #56 off the engine/exhaust mount fiche.

Does anybody know how many of these course thread hex head bolts are used in this bike?

I seem to be missing one bolt from somewhere but after checking both skis I can't seem to find any missing engine mount bolts and I'm not sure if these bolts are used somewhere else or I am missing one from some place on the engine. So far I count 3 on each side of the rear case bridge (#19) and 3 on the front single engine mount (#56) (2 on the hull & 1 on the motor to the rubber isolator)

Measure the length of the bolt in mm and post back, the bolt on the LH motor mount is M8 x 20mm, part no. 21, you can't see the bolt but you can feel where it's supposed to go. There are five of these bolts, as stated in the parts list.

Hey Lou,
I was thinking the same thing, only issue I put the bolt somewhere while I was doing all the rehabilitation work on the skis and forgot where I put it This is why I was wondering how many of the course thread hex heads there where on this ski and where they are located.

So you say that there 5 on the front motor mount?

Is there more than one front motor mount?

(I count 3 bolts on the front motor mount in my skis & 6 total for the rear case mount/bridge, am I missing some some where?)

You've got the parts list from the link you already posted, I don't know what else to tell you. The front motor mount has three, 2ea. M8x30 and one M8x40.

Hey Lou,
I got a minute this morning and did some detective work, I think I am missing #21 from the fiche.

I have hunted down and accounted for all other hex screws on the fiche except for #21.

#21 says it requires 5 of the hex screws 8x20;
one goes in the front mount to secure the motor to the rubber isolator.
I can see from the fiche that there looks to be one more on the rear of the crank around where the flywheel are.

Am I miss reading the fiche and there are suppose to be 4 of the #21 on the rear of the crankcase?

If I am not mis-reading it then I have 3 #21's un-accounted for, otherwise if I'm mis-reading it and there are 4 back there then that would account for all the hex screws.

Any idea how many #21 go in the rear where the flywheel thingy is?

I checked the bike and there are 5 #21 that connect the rear case to the bridge.

It looks like I have all of the bolts accounted for at least on the engine mount & exhaust fiche, any other ideas where these bolts are used?
