I got my challenger out on the water for the first time tonight. Right from the start, even before I started it up, I put the key on post and I noticed a continual beep. Boat started up fine, ran fine, but had this continual beep. At one point it stopped, but for a short time. I can't find my owners manual. Can someone tell me what that is???

What engine does your Challenger have in it?? For that year you could be running either the Rotax or the Mercury. If it's the Mercury a solid beep is an over heat alarm. Possibly a bad temperature sensor.

If you have the Rotax someone who has one will chime in. Just let us know what engine you have.

:agree:

I just replaced both my sensors and the issue went away. Bad sensors it happens.

Where are you guys getting your temp sensors for the 787? I searched the internet for an hour the other day and couldn't find one. Mine are working ok but the sensor on the port side is missing the little yellow boot and fits kind of loosely in the plug. Worries me a little.

Hey thanks for the link. I feel pretty stupid sometimes trying to use that parts finder:stupid:. I appreciate the help.
