Hello,
I have had ongoing problems for a few weeks. What had originally happened was that some water got back fed through the exhaust into the motor. I immediately tried getting out all the water I could by removing the plugs and holding down the starter intermittently. I've been trying for a little while now to get it running and have not had any luck. I tried pouring a gas/oil mix (little bit) in each cylinder just to get it to fire once and it keeps wanting to fire but never gets to the point where it runs on its own. After the gas mixture runs out of the cylinders it doesn't even sound like it wants to turn over and the starter just keeps cranking.
After working on it the last few days I noticed today that the lanyard does not beep anymore when putting the key on, but even without the beeps it will attempt to fire. Could someone perhaps give me some sort of direction? I'd keep trying to get it but if anyone could think it could be something else I don't want to waste my time and add more strain to the jet ski if I can.
Should I just bite the bullet and take it in or are there any recommendations?
Thanks,
-Mike
