Hey Guys,

I'd like your help. I want hear the good, the bad, and the indifferent on the RXT260. Any reviews or problems or Jeers would be appreciated, I'm looking to pick one up at the syracuse boat show and was wondering what people have paid for this doo. Also I like hitting big waves and blasting through WOT. Let me know how you guys like yours. Thanks

Hi cohenatti
I have a GTX Limited iS 260 that I ride off-shore here in AUS (just clocked 50 hours)-swell last Sunday was 3-4 metres (10 foot-13 foot).
I did a long ride up the coast in crap conditions and then back to the harbour - without the suspension deck I would have been stuffed (still a bit stiff next day). However the 260 donk loves a drink of Premium fuel - I went through 40-50 liters (10.5-13 gals) in a 2.5 hour run at various speeds (some WOT) -cost me $AUD78 in fuel alone! Hope you have a big bank account or own a servo :). My local Seadoo mech used to ride a RXT-X 260 RS - but each good ride cost up to $AUD100 in fuel - he is now looking at the new 2012 GTR215 which he reckons accelerates faster, is lighter (it is the new entry level 'muscle' ski) and is supposed to be 30% better on fuel. I am thinking about one as our second ski-compare it to the 260 on your shopping list-might save you a heap of running costs and a much cheaper purchase cost for the same adrenaline rush!
