So I wasn’t getting the performance out of my 951 engine I expected in my 00 rx Sea-Doo so I compression tested it and got about 85-90 psi should be about 130 to my understanding started digging into it and found the head gasket with what looks like a blown seal but I’m not sure if that would cause low compression or if I should dig deeper and replace the pistons and rings IMG_4365.JPG

951 at (or around) 200 + - hrs needs a crank & seals, with a balance shaft to go with a bore & pistons. You'll be putting on a new head gasket. Dig deeper. Oh yeah rebuild carbs too.

I use an engine repair place that gives a warranty, then throw on a brand new set of carbs. Then you know it's ALLLL good. lol
