Click.... thats all I get

Just Finished the motor, and put it in the boat. Right side, work, Left side doesn't. I have checked all the connections and grounds. Everythign is good. When i start it, It just makes ONE click, thats it. I hooked the jumper cables to the battery to the starter. And it turns over but no spark, Any ideas?

It could be a bad wire end on the wires ends if the connections are good and clean. Look closely at the battery wires and the ground- wire going to the engine by the starter. The out side appearance could be good but corroded on the inside...if you have to, cut the ends off and replace them.

same thing

mine did same thing tonight. I just replaced the jet pump, go to start it, and it turns like once and clicks. Put charger on it and it starts, take charger off and it wont. Take battery back to wallmart as it is only 4 months old. they say no replace as our tester says it is good and the tester is blessed from GOD himself. Got to autozone. Get battery that has over 100 crank amps more and it starts right up again. Moral of the story: do not go to wallmart unless your lookiing for a single teenage pregant mom... Well not that but how aboutr Bat testers do not tell the entire story.
