I bought this ski 2 years ago. It seemed to have a very small film of oil on the hull, like someone wiped it down with a oil cloth. It seemed to get worse over time.
Here's the thing.... the oil is clear, like motor oil. Last week my son brought it in and it seemed to have about 1/2 cup mixed with a little water.
I took it to the dealership and asked them to just look at it in the parking lot.
They asked if I had ever overfilled the oil resovoir, I said yes.
They said they see this all the time. However, this was a year ago. Also, my 2 stroke oil is dark and this oil is clear. They said when this oil is mixed with a little water it turns clear. Does this sound correct ?
