I've read around a little, and dont think I found what I'm looking for yet..
Have a 97 Challenger with 787 . . New battery that reads 11.75 volts NOT running , and 12.05 volts running at idle . . Do the rpm's "have to be" around 5000 to charge, ? or should it charge no matter ?. . little confused as to whats going on , , if something is wrong , should it show "any" differance???
How do you test the stator and or the rectifier??
Any one know any tricks??
