Changing oil brands

If I go from the Bombardier oil to Quiksilver from Walmart, do I need to empty all my left over oil before adding the Quiksilver? Reading through threads regarding oil, Karl stated that you should not mix brands. I understand not mixing synthetic and mineral, but is it necessary here?

I went from the seadoo XPS to Quicksilver full synthetic and i didn't change out the oil i just topped off. It's that you never want to go from a full synthtic to a mineral oil like twc3. I'm not 100 percent on if you can go from full synthetic to a syn blend. I don't see any problem going from xps to quicksilver i did and no problems reported here and it still runs the same the ran on seadoo oil.
