Challenger Fuel Lines

I have two fuel lines coming from the baffle pickup assembly that uses a Y to go into one line then another Y to split off to each carb. I believe in less is more. Does anyone have any input on me just using two lines from the baffle pickup assy directly to the two carbs... one line for each?

I believe the hose you are looking at is actually the return fuel line. The fuel supply hose goes to the mag. side carb. because that's where the fuel pump is, then there is a short hose from the mag. carb. to the pto carb.

You are indeed correct. I am replacing some of the old, brittle, hoses and thought that eliminating the Y, which are plastic, will eliminate the chance of failure or breakage down the road. I broke on plastic Y and replaced it with a brass T on the baffle assy side and the T puts bends in the return hoses unless they are long. Ill opt for two hoses and upload some pics after for other.
