S spideyred New Member Apr 15, 2010 #1 Anyone have a clue why I am losing power? doesn't quite have the hole shot power it had and I only top out at 40mph where I use to get 50 mph. plus it stutters and surges.. could it be dirty fuel line or clogged fuel filter?? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Dr Honda Well-Known Member Apr 15, 2010 #2 It's hard to say... but I would start by going though the fuel system, and check compression.
