Carb vent line?

Just cleaned my carbs, out side of the 1/4" and 5/16 fuel lines that come into the carb, there is a very small line that runs for one carb to the other , and uses a plastic T. I thought this was just an air vent line, but it looks like a very tiny fuel line.

Does anyone know what this is?

Ive tried 7 different places and know one has this size hose. I just want to know if its a fuel line or not.

look at the steering assy, is there a knob/lever that says "primer" if so, thats what those little fuel lines atach to. Previous owner replaced the choke cable and installed this kit

I am the original owner, this is the first time the carbs have been taken out!

Your carbs have a accellerator pump on the rear carb. The hoses you see come from the pump and go to the fuel nozzle on each carb. Yes, they are fuel lines and you should replace them if you think they might leak.

Thanks, the problem is i have been to several places and no one has a fuel line that small

I will post a picture of them.

Nothing is wrong with them, but i am changing all my fuel lines, because i still have the old gray ones. So it would seem silly to just leave these old gray ones.
I think the size of this fuel line im talking about is 1/8"

Thanks Seadooya, here are some pics of the lines that i have questioned about. I think they are 1/8" lines, but i dont think they have 1-way check valves in them.
So you think these are called excell pump lines?

they added the one way check valve a couple years later so yours doesn't have it but yes, those are the accelerator pump fuel lines. the small line on the bottom is where it receives fuel and when you open the throttle you'll see a little diaphram that pumps fuel to the top lines and squirts a blast of fuel into both carbs. those lines don't deteriorate like the tempo gray fuel lines so you don't need to replace them.

since you have your carbs out, make sure to clean your internal filters and jets.

Thanks guys, I did clean my carbs, jets and all. I just figured since i am changing all my old gray fuel lines, i may as well replace those ones too. What could i spray in those accelerator hoses and blow some air through them?

Just blow some air thru them to make sure they're clear. It'll be OK.

I like to disconnect the line just above the acc pump and then squirt carb cleaner in the hose and it will blast through and clean the nozzles so you'll see them squirting down into the carb throat.

I also like to then verify that the pump is working well by supplying fuel to the lower line and pumping the throttle so it squirts out.

Carb cleaner wont ruin the inside of those acc lines?

Remove the gas tank fuel bafel and clean the bottom screen, this is the most overlooked filter in the fuel delivery system. When clogged can overwork the drawing power of the carburetor fuel pump. Any Goo from deteriorated lines is immediatly recirculated into the outgoing fuel supply line. Any tubulented goo drops to bottom of the bafel when ski sits. Bills86e

i will be changing the fuel lines this week. I will clean the baffle filter.

What do you recommend to get the gunk out, without damaging that screen?
