Carb rebuild kits and wear ring?

Can anyone point me in the right direction for buying carb rebuild kits for a 1996 14' Sea Doo Challenger.

I picked up a new impellor for it also.

Should I change the wear ring? What is a wear ring anyway? I am an outboard engine guy prior to this boat so I am new to the jet propulsion.

Compression check showed 150lbs per cylinder. Is that normal for the 110hp single sea doo engine?

Thanks...

The compression is dead on.

The wear ring is in the pump, and the impeller is inside of it. It is what wears away, and takes the abuse of any rocks that may pass. In the how to section... there are a bunch of pics.

There are a bunch of places to buy carb parts... but our sponsor can help you get what you need.

Cool, thanks.

Just pulled the engine out of the boat. Carbs are coming off next.

What's the best way to contact the sponsor about the carb kits and wear ring I need?

Thanks,

C

Look in the top right hand corner of the home page and click "PARTS". That should link to a parts supplier - Seadoowarehouse.com

Thanks Fast boat man,

I also need gaskets for the top end.

I pulled the head yesterday.

Engine looks good, but going to remove pistons and clean them up.

Need a full set of gaskets.

None of my business, but why are you taking the engine apart? You've got perfect compression. In my opinion you could do more harm than good.

When you get your carb. kits, get OE Mikuni.
