i tried getting the high speed jet out of a carb but the stupid thing is stripping and feels like its cemented in
is PB blaster ok to use inside a carb? i guess i need a bigger screwdriver too
and i need a new screwdriver to get the low speed jet out too because its embedded like an inch deep and i dont have one skinny enough to reach it
on top of that, the filters are all perfectly clean! i spent 400+ bucks on carb rebuild kits and everything to go along with them... and the carbs apparently dont need rebuilt because the 13 year old boat hasnt been used enough to dirty the carbs. im almost positive nobody rebuilt them because the paint was untouched on the engine, carbs, everything. but it bogged in the mid throttle range... well that was back when the boat actually ran... before i blew a piston!
im having a hell of a time trying to rebuild these stupid things! its one issue after another! grrrrrrr
