Can you tell What this is???

I have a 97GSX, I had some trouble on the water last weekend. I decided it was time to change all the gray fuel lines, and clean up all the filters. When I was checking inside the hull, I found a rubber disc that is concave. I am trying to attach some pics. Can you tell me what this goes to????

Breather Cover

My ski doesn't have it, but I have heard that some skis have a hole in the breather cover. Could it be a plug for that hole?

Exhaust Plug

If this is a plug from the exhaust, what effect might I be able to see if it's not replace right away? I wasn't able to see what the performance of the ski is yet, but I plan on taking it on the water today to see how it runs after the replacement of the fuel lines.

Any More Ideas

:bangheadoes anyone else have any ideas as to what this rubber disc is. I found it at the bottom of the hull the other day after I had some other issues. I have noticed that there seems to be water splashing around the inside of the engine compartment. I have only ran for a few minutes, and there was water splashed everywhere. Any more ideas????

The rubber disk is not a factory part. It could be something someone in the past was trying to use in order to patch a hole in one of the exhausts casting caps. This may also explain the water in the hull.

Are you talking about the little discs that are welded into the main exhaust pipe that runs froom the top center of the inner hull down and back on the left side as your sitting on the ski. I saw those, and felt each one to see if there was a hold or something. I didn't find anything.
