The LCD on my 07 GTX has a large portion of the display that is dark, making it very hard to see. Has anyone ever seen this, and can it be repaired?

.If it is like MANY others, the Polarizing film has gone bad. eBay sells repair sheets pretty cheap. You do have to "force open" the cluster to do the repair and then reseal it.

Thanks for the reply. Is the polarizing film on the inside of the clear "glass" or behind the gauge overlay? It looks to me like this is a defective LCD.

I've not done the repair myself. I believe it is on the inside of the glass. I'll try to do some digging for you..
