I'll go grab a photo, but it's just the 3 big plugs.
I have no idea what is supposed to be there to be honest.

Ok, so it isn't a box at all, just the mpem?
Thought it may have been similar to my challenger

Nope its an all in one like that pic,

What's the exact year and does it have a throttle position sensor on the side of the carbs ?

3 plugs means its a carbed model, The RFI has 4 plugs.

There are two different mpem's that I know of that take 3 plugs like that. Either the pre 99 version that doesn't have a throttle position sensor and the 99+ that does have it. Both look the same though. Same plugs in the same place.

You got it :)

While your waiting, Assume there was something wrong that caused the PO to have thrown out the old mpem.

Its worthwile to check the wiring and perform some end to end continuity checks on the harness. There could be something that will cause there next one to blow.

Did you have a look at the wiring diagram yet?

I haven't yet, will download it today and do some tests tomorrow.

I'm hoping the vts is faulty, if I'm to assume the same is true for the 951s as it is the 787

Possible, I'm leaning towards charging the battery or hooking it up backwards and frying the protection diode.

Tried creating a complete wiring diagram. Lost some detail but at least its not on two pages :P

Thanks for the shout out...yes the 97.5 and 98 are special, a 99 and up will NOT work.

I ship to Australia all the time that is no issue.

Do not buy from that guy on ebay...hes got less than ideal integrity. I would be a bit more but yes would also include a programmed key, tested and ready to rock.
