Can I use 215hp SC kit on 185hp SC?

Hey gang, I'm wondering if the parts are the same between the 185 and 215hp superchargers. I know the gear is different, but I'm prepared to reuse mine. I don't think it wears that much in 100hrs anyway. I ask because I can get a 215 rebuild kit free, but must pay full price for the 185 kit.

There's more difference between years than there is between size. Yes gear for sure.. Shafts changed over the years and they're key to what fits and what doesn't. If the shaft is the same for yours as the free kit is, you're probably OK
