I just got this 89 sp with a bad motor. I was thinking of putting in a 717 which I think bolts right in but I was also thinking of customizing it to fit a 951. Any ideas on what all I might have to do to make this conversion?
For a 787 or 951 yo need to change everything and it isn't worth it. Honestly even a 720 swap isn't worth it in that hull. You are much better off getting a 95' or newer hull.
