Seadooya and I have had friendly disagreements on this forum, but I know he's a good guy and if he accidently sold you a bad engine he will stand behind it. Instead of making this public, why don't you look him up on the membership list and send him a PM.

This is a very friendly place, please don't let this get out of hand.

Lou

Yep... Seadooya is a good guy. He's not here much, but he will check his email. Just PM him.

Nope I send him like 30 pm s or more over 50 voicemails, massages with his wife for him to call me back he new the engine was so good .

I hope you used pay pal. Open dispute.
Otherwise try moderator for help.
But this does not sound cool.

i been traying to get a hold of him since feburary. i took him my seadoo so he could install the engine he sold me, my engine had wornd out crank seals so he said the engine he had was bad ass dude dont worry, that was his word, two weeks later calld him back to let him know that the seals on the engine that he sold me wear no good and that it also had started a back fireing issued so afther that no anwer so i ended up taking it to a shop they pulld out the engine out and they discover that the bottom end had been welded the machanic said the bottom end is worb knowing that im sure he did me dirty he might know alot on seadoo but he is not a honest machanic.

Yes, I've communicated with SDY several times in May. You are the only person I've encountered in the past three or four years who has made any negative comments about SDY. What dealer did you take your SD to for repair? Malcom Smith? Unless you were present when the dealer dismantled your engine and observed the defect contemporaneously, to coin a phrase SeaDooSnipe used some time back, "don't rant."

To start of I took my seadoo to seadoya because my crank seals were shot.he sold me a engine for 700 $ according to him the engine was bad has .2 weeks afther picking up my seadoo from seadooya same think crank seals were out on the motor calld and calld him left him messages and nothing so I took it to a shop to get the crank rebuild and wen they pulld the motor out it was a welded motor from the bottom .I'm sure he new the engine was junk .tell him that he hasn't seen the last of me .

How do you know that the mechanic that you took the engine to for repair was telling you the truth. Were you present when he disassembled the engine? In other words, did you watch him? Myself being a law school grad and former law enforcement officer, I know that what is said by many mechanincs is often not the turth.

Let me take you for a trip down memory lane and give you an example.

Sometime back I was driving up to Big Bear Lake and there was a large rock in the middle of the road. I had 3 options: 1: swerve to the right and go over the cliff, killign myself; 2) swerve to the opposite lane and find myself in a head-on collision; 3) run over the rock. I chose door number 3.

The rock was larger than I thought, so it became lodged under my car as I drive to safety. It effected my tranny to the poitn of it staying in 2nd gear.

I took it to three purportedly reputable tranny garages when I returned to Riverside: 1) Budget Transmissions; 2) AAmco; 3) the third I can't recall.

Each SHOP told me they inspected my transmision and I needed a new one; cost: $2200.00.

Not wanting to spend $2500, I crawled under the car and saw a loose wire dangling from an area adjacent to the tranny. I plugged in the wire, put the key in the ignition, cranked it over and vola, my Olds Bravada ran like new.

So Grasshopper, don't swallow the line and sinker when some mechanic tells you something is wrong with your mechanical toy UNLESS you watched him tear your engine apart. If his lips were moving, he was probably BS'n. (I apologize Snipe-I promise to wash out my mouth with borax)

If I were you, I would send SeaDooYa a PM and try to wrok things out. You will come out way ahead if you do.

Regardless of what the case was the crank seals on that motor were bad if the top end would if been bad but the crank good I wouldn't gave a rats behind .so basically I robed me for my money.like I said if he would of told me it was a welded engine I would of said Hell no . I got a engine just has bad as mind.I been calling him and no answer

Maybe I am out of line here, but this really doesn't seem like the place to rant. Most of us reading this forum are here to help. So if a person needs help finding someone, that's just fine. If you already have a phone number and address, then it would be best to work with them directly.

A one-sided slam against somone's name isn't fair at all. If it turns out he sold you junk, and doesn't make it right, then it may be worth sharing. Until then, please rant directly to the source and not the others.

(is it just me, or does a person sound drunk when they can't type, spell or use punctuation? Maybe I just sound drunk when I try to read it as it is written, I start sluring and using wrong pronunciation in one big run-on sentence) Too funny.
