I have a 96 Challenger with a 787. I rebuilt the motor 6 months ago and everthing ran fine until yesterday. On my way home there is a long pass where there is a no wake zone. After crossing it I could not get past 5500 rpms, it just ran bad. When I finally got home I pulled the plugs and found the PTO side covered in brown goo, it almost looked like dog sh__. Some how I'm getting water in that cylinder. I am very careful when I run it on the hose to follow correct procedure but the hose does have extremely high pressure. I did a compression check and both sides are at 155 psi. Could the head O-ring have failed and still give that high of a reading or could the water come from some where else?
