Well i guess i learned my lesson on doing sub moves!! I have broken the right reverse gate on my doo and have a couple issues here. First of all, according to the shop manual cd, the part # for the right hand gate is 204 170 037. The OEM gate is plastic and i found a thread on another site that they make a metal version of the same part. I dont neccessarily need a metal one but depending on cost I may choose to upgrade. I found a plastic one on the seadoo warehouse for $179.99, and have also found some on ebay for a bit cheaper. Ideally i would like to find a replacement asap because it has been a perfect summer for boating up here in Michigan and I would like to get my machine back on the water asap! Any suggestions on parts dealers or any other advice is greatly appreciated!!
Also, not sure if this is normal or not but when the gate broke I could not shift from forward to neutral to slow the boat down. I had to get on the ladder and pull the gate down in order for it to shift to neutral. The reverse cable seems to work fine when it is in neutral ( I can shift forward and reverse) but when i go to forward it doesnt want to return to the neutral position. I just wonder if this is due to the gate missing or if perhaps another part came off that i am unaware of.
Any and all advice is GREATLY appreciated!!

I also just read online that this part was replaced with part #204170149. I am currently searching for confirmation on this and checking availability.
