I recently purchased a 2024 SeaDoo GTX 170 with 19 hours. I tested the machine on the water and found the reverse and braking functioned properly. After bringing the ski home I noticed the "Reverse Gate Assembly" had a crack on one side. Is this a difficult repair?
If you’re just replacing the gate assembly 7out of ten. Service manual and You Tube videos will help immensely. The gate has free movement specs that are in the manual. There are plastic bushings in the gate assembly that might need changing also.
