Mine is split. I see a new OEM part is 50 bucks, and when I was talking to dealers, I had one tell me that you cant get them on. Has anyone replaced theirs with split pipe insulation? Perhaps some glue to keep it in place, then some kind of waterproof (is there any?) tape around the whole thing to keep it in place?

I would love to hear suggestions. Thanks all!

try one of those water noodels that u float one in the water , they come
in diffrent colars. cut it to fit. it will slip right on, remove the bar

If you use a split type of tube, go to a canvas guy (boat tarps, Bimini covers, camper covers, ect, ect), and have him make a zipper type cover. This will keep it in place and make for a easy replacement in the future...
