Boarding ladder bushings?

The little clear bushings on the boarding ladder on my RXT are pretty much shot... where does one get replacements? I'm referring to the clear plastic bushings that the ladder pushes against when stepped on. Can they be replaced?

I've looked at that fiche diagram before, but I don't see the part I'm looking for. It's just a short piece of clear plastic tubing that the ladder sits against when boarding the Seadoo. It's not pictured and I don't see it in the parts list (as far as I can tell).

They appear to be a wear-item, as with frequent use of the boarding ladder they're always going to wear out... there aught to be replacements available, but I'm stumped. :-(

Could you just buy a piece of clear plastic hose from the hardware store and cut it. Then wrap it around and put a zip tie on to hold it. Then you can replace it when it wears out many times for a few bucks .

I've already tried that, and the split-tubing turns a little everytime the ladder is used until the split part turns to the ladder face, then the ladder pushes the tubing right off it's holder. I even tried putting silicone inside the split tubing hoping it would hold it in place, but it still turns a little everytime the ladder is used and then gets pushed off. No joy! :-(

Surely I'm not the 1st to notice that the originals wear out after just a few seasons? Do most people just ignore the problem and replace the entire boarding ladder when it finally cracks at the place where these bushings once were? I can already see some wear on mine's ladder from being used without the bushings in place... I presume at some point that wear will get so bad the ladder will break.

These are the bushings I'm referring to (circled in red, 1 is missing in this pic).

I'm open to ideas! I don't even know if the rod they mount on can be removed to slip new ones on or not.

You could replace each of those brackets at $86 each. I think I would try some rubber hose again. Maybe epoxy it on.
