Best way to check the oil injector?

I need to check the oil injector's on both of my 96 GTX's. What is the best way to check to see that they are pumping oil? I have thrown around the idea of removing them all together and just going to premix. I did that with my 96 spi and it seemed to work pretty well, for the exception of fouling a few plugs here and there.

The best way is to just do a service on it. Change the filter, and the 2 small hoses from the pump to the manifold. Then, when you bleed it... you will see the oil "Pulse" up the lines to refill it.

If they pump with regular movement... then all is good. (should pulse about every second or 2 at idle, while holding the pump arm to full)

Oh... also... when you have the small lines off... hook a piece of hose to the nipples at the manifold, and blow though them to make sure they are clear.

Mark the tank and use premix until you know it is drinking, what seems to happen when ownership changes is there is so much excitement about having a watercraft that something as simple as getting a half used bottle of oil so you can use the same never crosses the imagination or asking where you got oil in the past, then new owner put in something his freind uses for an entirely different application but there is a photo of a boat on the bottle so it gets poured in and the gas tank gets topped off and wizzz away from the dock - an hour later the oils have mixed and they do not like each other so they form a gel like jelly gets hard on the outside of the jar, imagine that paste going thru those little lines and sprayers - I knew you would understand when I mentioned how the jelly jar cover is stuck tight, you may have to start all over and replace a few things but if you mark the tank you will know if oil is moving or not.

I am currently doing what voodoo is talking about. But i am sure mine is working, i just want to get an idea of how much is being injected per tank of gas.

If i had doubts about it working, i would do what doc honda says.

I decided to take the carbs off and check the injectors. When I got them off I turned the motor over and the injector on the left is pumping a good bit of oil. The injector on the right is pumping very little compared to the left. This sucks because I have already ran the motor some... Hope that front piston is not fried!
