Hi there, new to this forum, just purchased the 2013 wake 155. Any suggestions on the best spray to use after I use the ski. Last ski I had I sprayed with lanox and the rubbers around the coils swelled up .Also whats the basic tools i will need as I will be using it for offshore fishing/surfing ect. Last ski had many problems with coils due to salt water getting under the seat whilst in the surf, any suggestions on how to stop water coming in. Any advice appreciated.

Fluid Film is my favorite...WD40 is my go to, all purpose "water displacer"...heh. Your ski shoulda come with a basic tool kit.

As for keeping water outa the ski?....don't submerge the ass of the ski. Maybe tighten the lug down a bit so the seat...seals a bit tighter?

Salt water is a big thing it will corrode evrything under the seat. After running in salt water i use a product called salt away to flush, rinse everything including the engine. when the ski is dry and before the next use. I use CRC 6-56 Multi Purpose Lubricant or BRP Anti Corrosive Lubricant and spray everything under the seat. engine, hoses bolts wiring, and the rear of the pump and bolts. Exact words from a couple dealers " lift the seat and spray everything you see even reach under and spray under the motor snd what you can't see" my ski is a 2012 and in salt water most of the time and looks great, but my friend's is a 2008 ski and his engine looks brand new.
