If he is a distributor then he has a direct line to mystik. Ask him to order 4 bottles on his next order and pay him up front. I am sure he would go for it.

Nope, already tried that. They told me they could not order anything that isn't on their shelf.

What a jerk.

Maybe I should become a distributor for all the Seadooforum.com members.

But I am sure for a regular joe to ship oil through the mail, it would end up costing more and they may make it a hassle because it is a toxic substance.

You can be like me a try your chances at having very good luck. I ordered amsoil interceptor for my ski I ordered 1 gallon and for some reason they sent me 4 gallons someone screwed up in the shipping department because even the label is rated weight wise for the one not all 4. So I'm set for another season and a half or more at the price of one gallon..

Score!

I wrote to Mystik Lubricants today asking them the difference between the JT-4 Snowmobile oil and the JT-4 PWC oil.

Here's my e-mail and their responce:

Hi,

My local Blain's Farm & Fleet store carries your full line of oils, all except the JT-4 PWC oil, which is what I am looking for!

They do stock a JT-4 Snowmobile oil, which from reading the label has all the same ratings as the JT-4 PWC oil.

Is the JT-4 snowmobile oil the same just re-labeled as the JT-4 PWC oil? Or are there differences in the oil? I need the API-TC rating for my SeaDoo Jet ski.

Thanks

-Chad Cornett

Dear Mr. Cornett,

Thank you for your interest in Mystik products.

As you have surmised, Mystik JT-4 Personal Watercraft Engine Oil and Mystik JT-4 Snowmobile Engine Oil are the same product in different containers. It doesn't work well trying to sell oil to snowmobilers if it's labeled personal watercraft oil and vice versa; therefore two different labels. The snowmobile oil will work well in your SeaDoo. I have attached product information sheets for both products for your information.

If you have other questions, let us know.

So that's great news for me, the JT-4 Snowmobile oil is $19.99 at my Farm & Fleet store!

I will attach the 2 documents that Mystik attached in the e-mail for all to review! I think this Mistik JT-4 oil is going to grab a HUGE following from 2-stroke snowmobile/jet ski owners!

I just ordered 2 gallons of the Mystik PWC oil. It was less than $65 delivered to my door. Even at $32 a gallon it is cheaper than anything I can get around here. Thanks for all the info guys.

thats quite cheap already for a synthetic pwc oil..too bad its not available in our shores so we will just settle for the xps synthetics.

Honestly... most Wal-marts don't, and with the new "Re-model" they just did... they discontinued much of the boat related stuff.

There are 2 Walmart's in town, one on each end of town.

I just went to the Walmart on the far end of town from me and I found the Quick Silver PWC Synthetic oil, it was about $38/gal.

Of all palces I found it in the automotive department not the boat/fishing/marine department.

I also just found out on Mystik's website that Walmart is actually listed as a distributor for Mystik. So maybe in the near future we will see JT-4 at our local Walmart's!!
