Before I buy

Hello all!

I am a newbie when it comes to owning seadoos. Currently don't have one but looking into buying one. I've rode them sins I was young, but when it comes to picking one out, I don't know where to begin. Should I get it new? Used? How do I tell how it runs if we aren't near water? What should I look for? Any tips will be great. Just want to learn a but before I jump

Welcome!!! Deciding new or used is up to you. Usually people base that decision off how much money they wanna spend. You can spend anywhere from 6500 to 16000 on a new one. You can find some decent used skis for under $2000. Just depends on your wallet and needs. There are tons of good tips here for buying a used ski. I honestly wouldnt buy a used ski without water testing it. Most serious sellers shouldnt have a problem with that. Even if it takes you a couple hours to travel to water and test it out, it could save you thousands later.
