Unfortunately I miss placed my manual so can someone please tell me what is the correct battery for my 1997 seadoo GTX jet-ski. I called 2 parts store and 1 told me YB16 the other told me YB30.
2) Use a sealed lead-acid (SLA) also called AGM battery (absorbant glass matte). You will not use the vent hose that connects to the battery.
3) I have yet to see a PWC that you can't fit a standard 17-20 amp hour standard SLA battery. You can certainly buy the "Genesis" batteries at a significant battery but they are of the same technology.
4) Do a search for a powersonic PS12180. Just one brand of many.
5) Costs should be between $35-50
6) If you keep the battery disconnected during winter (many seadoos have a parasitic current draw) you can get 3-5 seasons easily.
