Hello I have a Seadoo GTI SE 2007, the dealership changed the oil, added stabil to the fuel and did all the other winterizing s*** last october when i was putting away for the winter. They told me all I had to do was put in new fuel, reconnect the battery and I would be good to go. They tested the battery before storing for the winter (in a heated storage) and the bat was good. Is there a need for me to charge the battery now? it has been unhooked all winter.. should i charge and if so what type of charge do i use?Jeff

Welcome to the seadoo forum Jeff. I would charge up the battery with a 2 amp battery battery charger. Let it charge up at least over night. Be sure it is in a well ventilated area. If you didn't charge the battery at all, over the winter it might not come back to life, but it's worth a try. If the battery won't start your seadoo have it Load tested at like Auto Zone for free. Be sure the battery wires are clean and tight so it gets a good connection. Let us know how you make out.

hey thanks for the advice, i read on another thread that when you connect the battery you connect red first and black last,, and reverse that when disconnecting.. is this correct?? thanks again

My battery charger says that you need to figure out if the battery is a regular type, AMG type, or gel type before charging. They want me to change the settings to the proper type becuase they charge differently. They also claim that charging a gel bettery like a regular batttery will destroy it. Anybody know what type comes with a 2010 RXTX?
