battery question

Does it really matter about the batteries being the same brand when planning on running a dual battery set-up? I was thinking about buying a optima to go with stock seadoo battery. Any help would be appreciated.

Doesnt matter the brand. Electricity is blind ;-)

Nah, it really doesn't matter. Your running a 12vdc system. Weather you run each battery individually or combined, its simple dc electricity.
