Batterie dying

I have a 1993 sea doo gtx after riding approx 5 min it shuts off completely and kills the batterie I have tightened batterie cables checked the batterie and it is still happening could stater be bad and how can I check it thanks for any advice

i'm not too familiar with that model, but generally the voltage regulator is what keeps charging the battery, maybe voltage regulator?
