My son found this on Market place> FREE, just get this junk out of my sight. Ok, I'm there.
1998 GTX Limited Edition, no motor(947), no pump, no seat. Everything else is there. Some real good hardware/components. Will test electrics with multimeter much later on. Or not.
1997 SPX, Original motor gone & steering cowling but did get a complete 787 & another 787 missing both cylinders only. Both motors in relatively good shape. This one is a keeper.
Included were a lot of OEM o-rings/gaskets still in package & some SBT/Titan o-rings.
Going to rob all the hardware/components off the GTX L, cut the top off & make a water trailer. Done this before to other junked PWC's. 1st water trailer I made I ended up losing some (a lot) of camping equipment, but you learn from failures. The other 3 I made, 35/40 mph tow speed with no issues.
Catalog all parts/components, find out what missing, 5S then hand everything over to my teenage son. His turn. Between the X2 & the ussy, he might have it running in two years or less. (yeah, right))
I'm finishing my own GTX & then I'm done with rebuilds for good.
Will provide pics on next post.
