I have a '98 Seadoo speedster. when i stop or slow down a lot of water comes into the floor of the boat. i believe this is from a small rubber baffle that is visible from the back of the boat. water should beable to run out of the boat from the floor but not from the lake into the floor. the rubber flap is sort of star shaped and mine is ripped. can someone please confirm this is what the problem is? also i cannot find one anywhere because i do not know what it is actually called. any help would be great thanks.

Scupper valve

There are several places to get replacements. Try westmarine.com or
Overtons.com. New design uses like a ping-pong ball. I hear they work great.
I still have the original flap type.
Good luck!

Yup....

the scupper valve is bad. People seem to like the ball style, but I found a stock style replacement on eBay for $7 shipped.

Thanks for the info guys. I can't find one at all on eBay. Scupper valve brings up nothing. I'll look at those other sites.
