RESTO Bad gas

99 gti replaced gray fuel lines, and looked in gas tank yellow gas? Is that a concern? Is this normal? Drained gas about to refill

THe modern fuel turns bad and yellow pretty fast. If in doubt drain and refill.

Does it stink like skunk pizz? Really bad idea to run stale fuel in any 2-stroke and think about it, marine engines are under heavy load burning 12GPH (and more) that's a lot of heat created beating those pistons like a blow torch so unstable stale fuel is the last thing you need unless you're trying to blow it up.

I was thinking maybe, maybe it was the return mixing back into the gas tank. But it was bad gas.

In all my water toys... I put Marine Stay-bil in the tank, every fill up. I've never had an issue with fuel.... EVER !! And with a 55 gallon tank in the islanda... I don't want to have to drain that.
