XP rattles at a idle in the water but goes away when gas is pressed a little or at full throttle? What could this be from, my 99 XP runs smooth all the time.

has anyone replaced all the grey fuel lines on your ski? Both of mine have the grey lines and I want to get rid of them.
Need to know how many stainless clamps I will need and how much and what size fuel line for BOTH ski's.

Thanks all of your input is appreciated, Dave Warr

The rattle is completely normal, you'll hear it until the pump loads up. If it's objectionable just set the idle a little higher.

for two ski's you probably need 40-45 feet, I just buy two 25 foot spools and be done with it...

the familiar seadoo "rattle" is normal, actually if I don't hear the rattle I think somethings wrong :)

clamps... hmmmm, I use good zip ties on most of my stuff but for the sake of argument i'd say if you clamped everything you'd probably need probably 16 clamps off the top of my head, but again, i prefer zippies so maybe buy a bag of 10 and use a couple them on the fuel pickup, and main lines, etc, but in most applications the zippies work just fine.

oh.. on 787 your running 1/4 line, on 951's I think there is some 5/16 involved, but somebody else will chime in on that, i'm not 100% sure on 951's i've don't mess with those much.

Thanks for all your info! Now I'm freaking out about my ski that don't rattle at idle! Lol o well guess it will be ok for now because it travels at 68/70 mph across the water.
Thanks so much for the info it's greatly appreciated
