Getting serious about adding some sort of a radio. Wondering if anyone has pics of what they have done. Not a ton of places to mount speakers and I do want to keep my mirrors. So mounting them in the mirrors is not an option for me.

Thanks in advance..

As mentioned in another thread... I purchased an Ecoxgear Ecopebble bluetooth speaker from Costco for about $40. Cabelas.com has a handlebar mount for this small waterproof, floating speaker. I mounted it on my left side grip. It is a standard tripod mount so I can mount a camera, etc. there too. The sound is very good. I havent had a chance to hear it on the water yet but I had it on outside and it is pretty loud. The handle bar mount keeps the speaker in close range to your ears.

Here are a couple of pictures. It is the square thing on the handlebars. I will try to post some close up pictures later.

How much are you looking to spend? i installed a 300 watt rockford fosgate amp, 4 JL Audio 6.5 speakers, with the Wet Sounds bluetooth unit and i can hear the music blaring while going 70mph. just let me know if you need a write up. you can always look at different equipment options i figured if i was going to do it you might as well do it big.

Stuetels Im in flight with wifi, been searching on the items you mentions. What speakers did you go with and where did you mount them. And what Wetsound head did you use. The amp I found. Where did you mount the various parts? Appreciate any input. This is something I am going to do, just want to do it right the first time.. Thanks...

sorry for the dirty ski. So I attached the Bluetooth unit directly to the amp and installed an on and off switch so it still runs when the ski isn't on. https://wetsounds.com/pages/products/WW-VC-BT.html I had a board mounted inside with fiberglass and bolted the amp to it. You have to use bolts. I also did a sound system on my GTI and I used screws the first time and hit a wave it ripped right out. http://www.jlaudio.com/mx650-ccx-cg-wh-marine-audio-mx-series-speaker-systems-91761 painted the faces black. The sound that comes from this system blows people's mines when you pull up to boats in some cases and your the loader person.
