anyone have a extra buzzer

You can run to your local radio shack and pick one up for under 10 bucks. Part # 273-068

Funny thing is the parts ski I bought had the buzzer in it. So I put it in the GTI and it worked about 10 times, then the next day it quit working. I even bench tested it and nothing. So I went to radio shack and got a buzzer. There is 3 connections on the radio shack buzzer, and the GTI has 2. On the Radio shack buzzer it says pos...neg...and pulse???

Connect the red wire to the pos terminal, and the black to the constant terminal.

I think the constant one is labeled as constant or negative off the top of my head. I know i didnt use the pulse terminal.

thanks!! Got it working good. To bad its to big to go back in that spot. I just zip tied it in as best as I could.

On my boat it fit right in. Maybe you can round the hole out a bit with a dremel or something.

Maybe the boats have a bigger slot then the PWC's. mine has a shallow hole and 2 posts on each side to lock it in place.

I think you got the wrong one then. Mine sounds just like a factory one. check the part numbers...maybe they miss boxed it
