On my RXP, I give my learner key to most of the people that ride it, I'm finding the rev limiter on learner key could you an increase of about 1500-2000 rpm. Anybody know if this can be done via budds (doesn't appear I can with candoo).

i think you can also.. i think theres a "rental" key thats a little bit faster then the learners key and a little bit slower then stock.. you just might have to reprogram the key on BUDS

I dont know for sure either. I think MATTY is correct about the "rental" being faster than "learner" but I think that's only a option on a newer ski not a 04 RXP. I've seen the key options on my SBT scanner for "normal", "learner" and "rental" but only on certain skis. Most skis it only offers "normal" or "learner".

In other words: I dont have a clue!

Thanks for the replies guys!!

Yah the RXP does not have the "rental" option within the Candoo, I give my local dealer a call and see and post back!

BUDS can't do it either. The newer skis have two learner keys for two different slower speeds but most of the older 4tecs only have the one and that's all you get.

The newer skis have 2 learners(learner 1, learner 2, rental, call it whatever) plus a regular but you can't adjust the rpm level. They are factory set and BUDS can't adjust either.

I just took my machine back to the dealer and they programmed my learning key into an actual key so I have replacement if I ever need it. I would think they could do whatever you wanted to your key...but not sure.

you can turn any key into learner or rental(if it was an option for that ski) or standard but you can't adjust rev limit on keys. they are permanently set to whatever the MPEM or ECU is set at for that key.
