Alright I have 97 Seadoo GS it wasn't idling at first but i took it out today ripped it up.. starts up fine with a little pull to the choke but after todays riding its starting up no choke and idling.. I guess that fuel treatment worked well with the carbs :)

but to the real issue... about a hour and half later after we docked at the beach and got food. i went to take off started it her up she took off then bogged down and only went maybe 20 mph and wouldn't accelerate any more with throttle fully pushed in.. any tips/ideas on what happen, what to look for and how to potentially fix?

Sure sounds like fuel/carb/petcock delivery, A quick way to rule out the front petcock is to run the in line to the carb right from the in nipple on the fuel pickup. And all of us out here assume you do not have the gray fuel lines.

lets not talk about my fuel lines LOL. I'm replacing I already have the new clear blue ones i think is what i got.. i just bought her last week and have done alot of work already restoring.

and ran thru a whole tank today before she started bogging so i dont think it would be the fuel delivery..

i've found a few topics on it being the rectifier possibly?? im gonna test that tomorrow with a meter @POPPS

I think you mentioned,,,that you had to pull the choke,,,that reflects fuel issues...If you have regulator issues, your battery will not be charged fully,,,it will be lazy to start,,,you will have enough spark to start and run...but no gusto,,,and may even foul plugs.
I always start at the battery,,,is it good, is it being charged,,,do I have good spark...do I have good compression...and do I have fuel.

new battery, and charged fully, new plugs, compression good as well... today it started up without choking it. but at the end of the day it bogged out and wouldnt go over 1/4 throttle.

everything im seeing is replace gas lines, and check rectifier.. its probably the damn green goo. (hopefully)

So, if I was there beside you, I would ask you, is it a rich bog, or,,,is it a lean bog?
Rich bogs usually clear themselves out,,,and then the boat goes,
In these situations it's rare for a rich bog to prevent the ski from rev'ing out.
If you pull the choke when it bogs, , does it run better, or worse?

No mention of CARB service other than some "fuel treatment".... bogging, lack of throttle response, etc, etc.....usually points to a fuel delivery problem of SOME nature into and THROUGH the carb(s)....a tiny speck of debris will cause all sorts of issues....the carb internal passages are miniscule and a little speck of anything could cause problems....disassembly and cleaning of the carbs MIGHT help in the short run but a full re-build/service might be in order (assuming stock '97 - 23 year old setup)

i checked my gas lines this morning and only 1 line that went directly to the left side of the carbs was grey so i replaced that. the rest looked like they were replaced with black automotive gas lines which i heard will do the job...

yes its bogging and its lean... not rich.. but i noticed after changing gas line today i am getting some backfire at high RPMS running out of water... my problem is im trying to find a mechanic in Maryland, USA to work on 2 stroke jetskis... theres very few.

I found the problem (: carbon seal boot fell off just going to replace the carbon seal and boot

That was a great break!
indeed, im also rebuilding carbs cause why not... gas lines are swapped and replacing rectifier cause why not as well. i dont know the history of maintenance so im just knocking out the common issues and should be 110% after this week :)
