How do I jump the starter relay and where is it?

Machine hasn't been used in 3 yrs.
Battery was new at that time and has been kept charged.
It reads 12.7 V and shows no voltage drop when I push the start button.
The motor doesn't spin. On some start attempts there is a click on others there is nothing.

I had wiring diagrams and a manual, but...........

Pictures would be really helpful. Thanks.

Follow th4e positive wire from the battery, it goes to the area the starter solenoid is. Use an insulated wire to jump across the starter relay solenoid. It also sounds like the ground isn't getting a good connection. It leads to the starter area of the seadoo. Make sure all teh ends are in good condition and making a good connection. The battery might show 12V+ but might have a bad cell or 2 and not have the amps to turn the starter over. Have it Load checked at you local Auto Zone for free.
