mandriva I basically hit an 18 wheeler that stopped dead still in the right lane of Interstate 20. He had no lights on and I hit him doing 70. My leg snapped like a twig. I never hit the brakes.

Me and Spim both work in insurance, so feel free to PM me if you have any questions but it sounds like you do. I hope you are suing the piss out of their insurance policy. Unbelievable.

I'm guessing you are out of work on leave for a while?

PM me your number. Oh yea there's a shit ton going on

Yeah they aren't pretty. I'm just not sure I want to spend the effort stripping and repainting. They are spotless inside where it counts

Aircraft stripper would take the paint off the carbs in <5 minutes. But you would have to rip them apart 100%. I use that stuff to strip everything lol. Just don't get it on your skin or its gonna burnnnn.

Looking for recommendations on jetting specs, spring weight, and needle and seat sizes if I run buckshot head 43 CC domes, Coffman rec, MT sd rev, and buckshot 44's. Anyone got any tips or starting points.

I figure I'll get it going with the Coffman and once I'm more mobile we will install the twin pipes

I'm starting to think to much purple. Someone posted some black ones on FB with purple end caps on both sides that looked pretty good

I started with 125 pilot and 120 mains and was very close. 65 in the return.

I agree but that would be on the rich/safe side. I think you could get away with 120 lows and 120 highs. I even have a set of 44's at 120 lows and 115 highs.

Also get a 65 and a 75 high speed jet for the return. I usually use a 65 but if it loads up after idling for a few seconds I've gone larger.
