I have a 01 RXDI is there anyway to test the air regulator? My plugs keep fouling out will not start when I pull them out their soaked I pulled the fuel rail off to check the injectors they seemed to be spraying pretty heavy and not in the fine mist I think they should it has new air injectors so could it be the air regulator or the fuel reg letting to much fuel by?Thanks for any help.

You need to check your fuel pressure. The fuel pressure when you install the lanyard should be approx 27psi. Fuel pressure when cranking or running should be approx 107psi. If these are the results you get then the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, air compressor and air pressure regulator are working correctly. I strongly suggest that you become a premium member so you can access the shop manual library. It will be worth every penny (now and in the future). Your DI engine diagnosis will probably require step by step testing proceedures that only the shop manual can provide.
