Advice on How to Ship a Boat

Looking at buying a Sportster or Speedster and may want to expand the geography for my search.

Can anyone provide some basics how to's on shipping and/or refer a carrier. If there is a thread here already on this, my apology. I couldd not find one.

How far you talking? I bought mine 10 hours away and found it was cheaper and easier to just drive there and pick it up. Made a little mini 3 day vacation out of it.

I kind of figured maybe $1,000 from the coast to WI. Lot cheaper than a roundtrip road trip!

It will be very wise to get it wrapped if putting on the back of a semi though it really depends on how nice of condition it is and if you want to invest into that as well, it would prevent a ton of rock chips to it if any where to hit it along with the grime,
