Here's the deal. Slapping together the engine for my 96 GTX and realized I forgot to add oil to the counter-balancer chamber. The 96 787 engines didn't come with the plug to add oil, so I'll have to pull the sleeve to access the filler hole in the sleeve opening of the case. Not a big deal. Haven't bolted the head down yet. What I'm wondering is if I can drill and tap a hole in the case on the top of the counter-balancer chamber to fill it now and keep it topped off in the future. Not a big fan of "sealed" chambers. Thinking I could flip the engine over and carefully drill to reduce the chance of shavings getting inside, then figuring out a way to flush it out a bit after tapping a 6mm bolt hole. Maybe popping off the end cap that's secured with the circlip. Don't want to split the case (again).

Big Dogs(seadoo mechanics), that been around for YEARS, dont bother with, filling that cavity. It'll get lubed with the injection system.
