I used to participate in the forums at that site, and it was very useful. A lot of great content from users on all sorts of topics relevant to our boats. The website seems to still work, sort of, but it's really slow and the content seems to be missing. It's a shuffling zombie.

Does anyone know what happened, or more importantly, how to access those old threads?

Not sure about those guys but glad you guys found your way here! This forum started at the end of 06 and we have been chugging along ever since!

While I have your ear, a question: I have the pdf files that make up the 1999 Shop Manual for Challenger and Speedster jet boats, plus the 1998 Challenger Parts List.

I was thinking of attaching a portion to a recent question on this forum but did not since it is copywritten material. However, I sent a message into BRP asking permission to share those files and after being kicked upstairs a couple times, I received that permission directly from BRP.

So my question to you is, where if anywhere should these files be placed? I'm new around here and for all I know, you already have these stuffed somewhere. But they would surely be useful to a few folks here.

There are 14 total files, ~87Mb total. Largest single file is 22Mb.

That's actually the site I was looking for, when my 96 Challenger gave me an odd exhaust-based
water dribble.

Was a good site---lots of info exchanged without ego

On Wayback, nothing showing after 2018, and what shows
is dating back to July 2012.

I though about using a web archive but didn't think it would work as well as it does - thanks for that. It's not as useful (searchable) as the original site but far better than losing all that stuff.

To answer your question, we already have these manuals posted to the site. They are in available in the premium members section as they are large files.

Ah, I see. In that case I don't need to post them in their entirety.

Is it OK to post excerpts outside the premium area as long as the size of those excerpts comply with regular forum rules for file attachments? I understand if you want to protect your pay wall - I'm just asking to understand what's OK and what is not.
