A temp

So I go out for my first run put the ski in the water let it run and 5 min in on my warm up a temp pops up and constant beep.... I then smell burning and I look inside and two plastic connectors melted where it pkgs into those round caps with red middle's anyone know what my prob is?

I'm not sure what you're talking about, can you post a picture? Are you talking about the rave valves?

The engine was really hot Fter 5 min of idling and the engine then shut off... Could this be a serious problem or?

is there water coming out of the pisser hole?

I would flush the cooling system; it sounds like there's a restriction. Could you tell if there was water coming out of the pisser?

forgot to check... but usually i notice and failed to notice that...i read somewhere it could be that the connections are clogged or something like that. and thats why my sensor is going off for temp and then it causes my engine to shut off?

those two connections is what melted, they are no longer connected. and the egine was really hot. and the temp sensor was written A TEMP on the dash with a constant beep

is this a expensive fix? and could the engine overheat and auto shut down be dangerous for my seadoo in the future now...

Hopefully it shut itself down before damage was done. As suggested above, check the cooling system. Once you are comfortable that it's working properly, do a compression test of the engine to see if any damage was done. Replace the melted lines and try again.

ok. could it be due to that fact that the seadoo wasn't de winterized properly and set up? because before winter i had it running perfect and no problems, then i sent it in to get it winterized and then that happened... within like 5 min, didn't even take it for a spin

The only thing that comes to my mind about your winterization comment would be that there is a line pinched off that didn't allow the water to circulate.

Low compression can mean a top end rebuild......

Im thinking that a line is pinched as well, because there's no way the engine over heat in 5 min of iddle. First time I have this problem. Ski runs 100% good so that's what I'm think g just wondering why those 2 connectors melted il post a pic when I get home

So one of the lines is clogged with seaweed or something of the sort.... How do I get these little lines un clogged
