I have a 1996 SeaDoo Speedster, the engine starts fine and runs fine, but when you go more that 20 mph the left motor dies out like its running out of gas kind like surges the motor revs up and down. I have cleaned the fuel filters out, I have rebuilt the carbs and it still does this. any other trouble shooting recommendations?

We've just bought a Speedster 1997 and when you accelerate the left hand engine revs round to 7000 and the right engine stays at 4 and the boat doesn't get any faster! It seems like a drive shaft problem although the right one has just been replaced. Have you solved your problem and if so what did you do to solve it? Thanks in advance, James
