99 seadoo xp limited blowing 3 amp fuse

I keep blowing the 3 amp fuse and then nothing works I put new in it starts right up the shuts off cause fuse blows any ideas would be greatly appreciated thank you much

Unplug VTS then try an new fuse again.

The rear box may have water in it. It has a 15 amp fuse.
The MPEM has a 15 amp, 7.5 amp, and a 5 amp.
No 3 amp fuses.

I have an '02 XP. it's also blowing the 3amp, but everything on the ski 'works' other than it's not charging the battery...

and yes, it's the 3 amp at the bottom of the MPEM.

So, I found the wiring diagram: it goes:

top to bottom
15A - Battery
5A - MPEM
7.5A - VTS
SPARE
SPARE
3A - ACC

so what's ACC and why is it blowing on me?! is it the bilge pump?!

3 amp fuse = Bilge pump

I had a hunch this was it, I was going to test it tonight, so I guess my pump is bad as well.


NOW you solve MY problem... my '02 XP isn't charging.

13.6v engine off, 12v engine ON... not the 14 it's supposed to be.

the Shop manual is the shiznit, download and read ALL of it.
